She Hungers, I Thirst

When she found him in the rain, he didn't know he was waiting to be found. A stranger's touch. A kiss on the wrist. A single sentence that rewrites everything: You are exactly where you're supposed to be. He tells himself it's coincidence. It isn't. She is Elena, beautiful, impossible, and utterly in control, and she has marked him for something he doesn't yet understand. As the pull in his blood deepens and the boundaries between desire and obsession blur, he finds himself willing to surrender everything: his freedom, his self, his very soul. She keeps him on a leash he never knew he wanted. She feeds on him. She displays him. She owns him in ways that should terrify him but instead ignite something primal and inescapable. And the most cruel part? He wouldn't have it any other way. A dark, sensual exploration of possession and desire, what happens when consent becomes surrender, when love becomes hunger, and when the only cage that matters is the one you choose to stay in. Some leashes are forged in blood. Some are forged in need.

A story so good, so poetic, so well told and emotive I couldn't put it down. Elena and our narrator will be lingering in my mind for some time yet.
